A Bridge To Peace of Mind
eTax provides a software bridge which
enables your use of an external tax rating service bureau, like our partner,
BillSoft
(contact them at 800-525-1875). The eTax subsystem
prepares a file(s) of billing transactions (Usage, Recurring Charges,
etc.) to be taxed, which may be sent to the service for processing. In
some cases, the service’s tax database may reside on your server, depending
upon the number of transactions to be processed. eTax
also receives the tax information returned and merges it with CAS for
billing and reporting. Both usage and local service-related items are
supported for taxing.
Note:The CAS Basic System Pack is manditory for all systems. CAS workstations require Windows 2000 or XP.
